A 61 kg poly tank can be delivered on a tradesman's ute, carried by hand to the excavation, and lowered with straps. A 1,500 kg concrete tank needs a truck mounted crane (HIAB) to deliver, a clear approach for that truck, and machinery on site to place it. In remote or constrained sites — narrow gateways, sloped land, soft ground — poly is often the _only_ viable option without expensive site works. Licensed plumbers prevent this by water-loading the tank during backfill or by using anti-flotation collars in high water-table sites.
